Yard Jockey Driver in Savannah, Georgia

Full Time – 40 Hours a Week. Overtime available.

Pay: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour 
Salary: Depending on qualifications and shift

Job Description

• Safe and timely spotting of trailers/containers
• Frequent yard checks to ensure trailer/container status
• Conduct frequent trailer/container inspections
• Check temperature of container
• Check gen-set fuel level – add if necessary
• Spot check tires, lights, mud flaps, glad hands
• Spot check and ensure plug-in/power cord operational
• Assess container or gen-set for any damage
• Maintain orderly and clean yard – broom, power blower, p/u debris, etc. 
• Minor maintenance
• Paved lot/yard
• Reefer/genset experience a plus

Requirements

Min 3 years verifiable/like experience

Must be able to use gmail, google sheets

Class A CDL license is recommended but not required.

Shifts

1st Shift: 0600 – 1530 / 0700 – 1600 M-F

2nd Shift: 1600 – Close

Weekend shifts: occasional
